Busy weekend with great results

The past weekend was a busy weekend for fencers from the NY, NJ area. The March Nac took place in Cleveland, the New Jersey high school championship at Livingstone High School and there were other local tournaments for the youth fencers. From the Rockland Fencers Club Noah Tumibay, Kayla Shaw and Layla Roy earned national points at the Marc National Cup. Kayla after finishing in Cleveland went to the individual high school championship and made the final round with 8th place finish in women's foil. Michael Kang finished 4th in men's epee. New Jersey has the biggest and most organized high school fencing league in the country. With more than 70 schools and over thousand fencers competing in the state championship. Therin Jurman and Silas Bobrow finished 1st and 2nd in the Brooklyn March Youth Foil Cup in under 10 foil. Congratulations to all of our fencers and their coaches for the great results!
