Peter Shine & Therin Jurman both earn Bronze

Over the weekend a pair of RFC fencers earned 3rd place medals. Peter Shine fenced in the American Challenge Regional Open Circuit and Therin fenced in a local foil competition. Peter went undefeated in the pool round and was seeded 3rd out of 77 fencers going into Direct Eliminations. He continued his winning ways for the next 5 DE's until he lost in the Semi Final 15-12. Peter earned a C18 for his result and is looking forward to the next tournament.
Therin recently started competing and fenced well over the weekend. He had a strong pool round and went on to beat some tough competitors with smart fencing. His 3rd place was well deserved and we look forward to his continued success.
