Over the weekend Maxine Shvachkin of the Rockland Fencers Club competed in a strong mixed epee tournament and finished in 3rd place! Maxine was not deterred by the fact it was mixed and went undefeated in her pool round and entered the direct eliminations as the 2nd seed. She continued her winning ways and won the next two direct elimination bouts before losing a close semi-final. Maxines next tournament will be in Dallas, Texas for the Summer National Tournament. Good luck to Maxine and all the RFC fencers.

Other strong results for the RFC came in the form of a gold medal earned by Liam Landau, at the Rockland Fencers Club tournament 2 weeks ago. This result also earned him a E 2016 rating and he is looking forward to many more top finishes. Congrats to all the RFC members who participated.
