Brian Park medals at the March National Cup.

Congratulations to every Rockland Fencers Club fencer who participated in the March National Cup in Baltimore. Special congratulations to Brian Park who finished 3rd in the DIV 3 Men's epee tournament and earned his C2018 rating. Brian fenced very strong all day. After a 5-1 pool he won every direct elimination bout with a comfortable lead all the way through the semifinal, however he had to face some very experienced fencers. Layla Roy also got close to make it to the podium. She ended up losing in the top 16 and placed 12th in the Youth 10 women's foil event. We are very happy for their success and wish them many more great results like these!
