Rockland Fencers Club to Host Grand Opening Event in Nyack

(NYACK, NY) – The Rockland Fencers Club LLC (www.rocklandfencersclub.com) will hold an open house, August 13th as part of its grand opening at the club’s new facility in Nyack, NY.
During the grand opening the public will have the opportunity to meet the coaches, watch the Olympics live, and get information about all the programs the club has to offer. The day will also feature fencing demonstrations by the club’s top ranked national fencers, as well as music, student interviews, and the chance to take advantage of discounts and enrollment specials for the entire family.
Under the direction of Attila Lukacs and Tyler Overk, the Rockland Fencers Club offers high level fencing instruction and programs designed for children, teens, and adults of all ages and fitness levels. According to the RFC coaching staff, “We’re excited to bring a high level fencing program to the Nyack area. Fencing is a sport that excites your imagination, offers a terrific workout, and influences enrollment to some of the top colleges/universities in the US. It’s also one of the first Olympic sports and the US fencing team has never been stronger than they are now in RIO.”
Classes at the RFC are held Monday - Saturday mostly in the evenings at 4o Lydecker st. Nyack, NY 10960. A new season is just beginning, the US Olympic fencing team is poised to win multiple medals, and it is the perfect time to pick up a great life long sport. Fencers can rent all the necessary equipment at the RFC but space is limited.
